Initiation (attunement) in the Usui Shiki Ryōhō Reiki system is a process in which the Reiki Master “opens” the student’s energy channels, allowing the universal life energy to flow freely. It is a permanent process – once opened, this ability remains with you for life.
Level I (Shoden) – “Body and Physicality”
This is the foundation. It focuses on healing yourself and others on a physical level.
- What it involves: During several initiations, your biofield is cleansed and attuned to high vibrations.
- What you gain: You learn hand positions for self-treatment and helping others (family, animals, plants).
- Effect: You regain contact with your own body, strengthen your immunity, and gain a tool for immediate relaxation.
Important: Breaks (min. 21 days or a few months) are recommended between levels so that your body and energy system can gently integrate the new vibrations.
