Initiation (attunement) in the Usui Shiki Ryōhō Reiki system is a process in which the Reiki Master “opens” the student’s energy channels, allowing the universal life energy to flow freely. It is a permanent process – once opened, this ability remains with you for life.
Level II (Okuden) – “Mind and Time”
An advanced level that dramatically increases the power of energy flow.
- What it involves: You gain access to the three sacred Reiki symbols. You learn how to use them to enhance the effect of the energy.
- What you gain: You can send Reiki at a distance (beyond time and space) and work with the mental and emotional spheres (e.g., releasing addictions or fears).
- Effect: Your work with energy becomes faster and more precise.
Important: Breaks (from min 21 days to a few months) are recommended between levels so that your body and energy system can gently integrate the new vibrations.
